Access & recovery
What happens if I forget my password?
BLKH01E is local-first: your master password and keys are not stored on our servers. If you lose your password and any recovery material you have set up, your encrypted data may be unrecoverable. Set up your recovery options and keep a backup.
How do backups work?
You can create and export your own encrypted backups. Guarding and exporting your data is designed to remain available even without an active subscription.
Subscriptions
How do I manage or cancel?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Manage or cancel any time in your iPhone Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the period ends.
What happens after the free trial?
Without a subscription, the vault stays read-only: you can still see everything you saved and make backups, but adding and encrypting new content is paused until you subscribe.
Privacy & security
Where is my data stored?
Your private vault contents are encrypted on your device. The core architecture does not keep a central repository of your private vault contents.
